Education
Equipped to succeed

Access to education provides children with the tools they need to succeed, opens new opportunities in their future, and empowers them to break the cycle of poverty. Schools with safe water access see increased enrollment, improved grades, and decreased dropout rates. When schools have running water, children can circumvent the need to collect water and attend school more regularly. Adolescent girls, in particular, are more likely to complete school when schools have functioning latrines. Community health and hygiene training through our WaSH WARRIOR program helps enhance participants’ long-term health and well-being, helping them grow healthy bodies and minds.
